What you need to know before booking a Sound Meditation

 You do not need any prior experience of meditation or sound baths before attending. 

All sessions are suitable for beginners.

Padded yoga mats, bolsters, eye masks and blankets will be provided but please bring your own pillow and dress comfortably.

You will be laid down for up to 50 mins.

Please drink plenty of water before and after attending.

 

Sound meditations are a deeply relaxing, holistic practice that are used to facilitate a sense of calm and well being.

However, there are some people who should not attend a sound meditation.

you should not attend…

  • If you are pregnant.

  • If you have epilepsy especially a form of epilepsy that is triggered by sound.

  • If you have severe or clinical forms of mental health conditions. [Sound meditation can be very beneficial for your mental health as it can promote relation and can help to release stress and anxiety. However, it can work through emotional blockages and so if you have any severe mental health conditions, you would need to talk carefully with your doctor or therapist before attending any sound meditation and disclose this with your sound meditation facilitator.]

 

You should check with your health care provider or doctor and disclose to me before a sound meditation...​​

  • If you have any conditions triggered by sound.

  • If you have any metal implants or plates.

  • If you have a history of heart conditions or a pace maker.
